DryPoint Etching

DryPoint Etching is an intaglio technique used in preparing metal plates for printmaking by means of which lines are scratched directly into the plate.  In our case we didn't use metal plates it was a plastic one but we still had to scratch the plate.  I choose a drawing that I found would have been interesting to try and create a printmaking. I personally thought the process was a lot of work because I had to go in and scratch out the details of hand and the outer of the eye where I applied a lot of cross-hatching.
